CBD’s Potential Benefits

Before talking about CBD’s potential benefits, let’s start with what is CBD and how it affects us.

CBD is a hydrophobic and lipophilic compound, which means it may dissolve in fats and oils. A wide variety of beneficial effects on pain may be achieved by its disintegration, which allows it to pass across your blood-brain barrier and enter your central nervous system (CNS).

When the neurotransmitter, Adenosine, is activated, it inhibits pain signals by increasing the amount of this neurotransmitter present in the brain, which in turn reduces pain perceptions. By binding to TPRV1, which is responsible for pain and inflammation, CBD may also prevent pain signals from reaching the brain’s processing centers.

Inflammatory and Autoimmune Disorders: CBD reduces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and inhibits the proliferation of T cells that are associated with autoimmune and systemic diseases.

CBD acts as an antioxidant, reducing oxidative stress and systemic inflammation. Anti-inflammatory properties of cannabidiol (CBD) may help relieve neuropathic pain (like fibromyalgia or back pain) by counteracting hyperalgesia, which is associated with chronic inflammation (an abnormally heightened pain response).

As a chronic pain sufferer, you may find it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, which may affect your mood, your relationships, and your job. CBD may help alleviate symptoms of sleepness, anxiety, sadness, and exhaustion, all of which are frequent in people with chronic pain.

The following conditions are considered to benefit from the use of CBD.

Among CBD’s potential benefits, it is believed that CBD may help alleviate the following conditions:

In the context of CBD, osteoarthritis has been extensively studied. As a potential treatment for osteoarthritis, early investigations reveal that CBD works as an antagonist and inhibits or debilitates the GPR55 receptor.

A crucial step in treating type 2 diabetes and lowering the likelihood of developing diabetic neuropathy is the activation of a receptor known as PPAR-gamma by CBD.

Cancer

An anti-cancer impact may come from CBD’s debilitation of GPR55 and activation of PPAR-gamma receptors in the body, which breakdown amyloid-beta plaque, which is connected to Alzheimer’s disease development.

Pain

Chronic pain diseases including Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis – CBD continues to be explored for chronic inflammation and autoimmune illnesses, as well as for fibromyalgia. When it comes to treating the pain and spasms associated with multiple sclerosis (MS), research on the usage of CBD (and THC) is mixed.

Anxiety

If you’re suffering from anxiety because of chronic pain or because of coping with chronic pain, CBD may help alleviate some of the symptoms. Be aware that CBD is not a cure-all and should not be used as a substitute for your current pain management regimen. Instead, CBD should be seen as an additional medication for pain management that you may use in conjunction with other methods.

If you don’t know what you’re doing, it might be difficult to know which product is suitable for you because of the (i)legality of CBD and medicinal marijuana. When you begin your search, this is what you may come up.

Get to Know the CBD Isolate, Broad, and Full Spectrum Products

Scientists are continually uncovering the many ways in which CBD may aid in the fight against illness and alleviate pain and its accompanying symptoms. Also, they’re still trying to figure out how CBD works as a single chemical rather than as a full plant. These product descriptions include Full Spectrum CBD, CBD isolate, and a wide range of other options.

Please note that the effectiveness of any method has yet to be shown.

Isolated CBD refers to any product that exclusively contains CBD from the marijuana plant. It is possible to extract CBD isolates from both hemp and non-hemp marijuana species. Hemp must be used to make it nationally lawful, so remember that. CBD isolates are available at marijuana dispensaries in places where medical marijuana is permitted.

CBD isolates may also be found in the medications Marinol and Syndros, which have been authorized by the FDA for the treatment of nausea and appetite loss in persons with AIDS, respectively. 3

CBD products that are full spectrum include all of the cannabinoids in the marijuana plant, as well as terpenes and other chemicals such as flavonoids, proteins, phenols, and esters, as well as a number of other cannabinoids such as THC and CBDa.

Full-spectrum CBD products developed from hemp may have 0.3 percent or less THC, while those obtained from non-hemp marijuana tend to have a more diverse cannabinoid and terpene profile.

A broad spectrum marijuana product retains the whole profile of the marijuana plant, but the THC is mostly eliminated from the product.

Choose a CBD Product that Fits Your Needs

How to choose a CBD product is determined by:

Here’s a summary you may get from a budtender — a dispensary pharmacist – or your doctor.

Topicals

Creams, ointments, and salve are examples of CBD topicals. These are helpful for treating pain that is localized, arthritic, or neuropathic. 14 Because topicals may be applied directly to the skin, they have no psychotropic effects. Arthritic pain, in particular, may benefit from topical treatments, according to research.

Oral Products

People with systemic inflammatory diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis or MS), autoimmune diseases, and full-body discomfort from neurological illnesses like fibromyalgia or cancer pain may benefit more from ingesting CBD.

Because CBD is fat-soluble, it’s best to go for products that have beneficial oils in them to get the most out of your CBD.

These include, but aren’t limited to:

Sprays

CBD isolate oral sprays that are quickly absorbed into the circulation when administered under the tongue. The dosage may be more precisely managed with sprays and tinctures used orally.

Capsules

CBD capsules are a tablet version of the substance. To boost the CBD’s absorption, eat a snack rich in healthy fats before taking the capsules.

CBD Oil

Many different products combine CBD extract with a plant-based oil to create a number of different oils. These may either be taken under the tongue or added to food items, depending on your preference.

Edibles

CBD brownies, gummies, and other edibles are examples of this kind of product. CBD edibles may have special immunosuppressive advantages for patients with MS and other autoimmune disorders, even though their effects are more difficult to anticipate due to the digestive system transit. This impact is the result of CBD’s interaction with our intestinal lymphatic system’s multitude of immune cells.

Vaping

A growing number of people are turning to e-cigarettes to get their dose of CBD. In contrast to rolling a joint, vaping uses a CBD oil cartridge that is placed in a vape pen and inhaled via the mouthpiece. Both vaping and smoking pose risks to the health of a person’s lungs, despite the perception that vaping is less harmful.

Even when vaping a strain containing traces of THC, you may use a full spectrum CBD that may make you a little high.

To avoid getting a buzz, you may use a CBD isolate or wide spectrum oil in a vaporizer. Clear? You’ll have more questions after reading this. To learn about products and the conditions they treat, continue reading our blog!

How long does it take for CBD oil to work?

Different conditions have different reactions, and some people may need to wait longer than others for the effects of cannabis to kick in. If you’re in serious pain or you’ve been unable to sleep for a long time with no relief, there’s a good chance that it will happen soon enough.

If you’re dealing with chronic issues, it might take a little longer for the benefits to become noticeable so don’t give up if it doesn’t work right away! It’s important that you take your own timeline into account so please keep this in mind before expecting something from this treatment option too soon.

The most important things to consider are:

CBD oil tincture

  1. Your personal tolerance – including the amount of cannabis you smoked last time, whether that’s been for social or medicinal purposes in the past (there are different potencies and strains), if you’ve been popping pills for pain, etc. You might have a much higher tolerance than somebody else, so cbd leaf dosage will be more effective for some people than others.
  2. The strength of the cannabis plant strain used – some strains are more potent than others and will produce faster results (although they can also produce different effects on different people).
  3. Your age. Younger people’s bodies can handle higher dosages of cannabis, so the effects will kick in much faster than an older persons.
  4. How your body reacts to numerous factors and chemicals – whether it’s your diet, how many medications you take or your overall medical history and the state of your physical health for example.
  5. How much sleep you’re getting – not just how many hours a day, but quality of sleep – is it restless? Do you wake up earlier than usual or after a longer period than usual? If so, this might be making things worse for you, not better!

Benefits of CBD

People take CBD for a range of health reasons because this substance has been found to offer healing and soothing benefits for the body and mind. CBD has a relaxing effect on both the mind and body, so it can help with sleep issues, pain relief and insomnia problems, relieve inflammation, combat stress related illnesses, help with anxiety disorders and improve your overall health!

The more severe your condition is when you start taking this treatment option, the longer it might take before you start feeling the effects. If you’re dealing with serious issues like chronic pain, period cramps or seizures, it could take anywhere from a week or two to several months or even several years (if things don’t improve) before you notice any improvement in your condition.

While you’re waiting, however, there are a few things you can do to help yourself:

cannabis flowers

Experiment with different strains

If your condition is sufficiently severe, and your personal tolerance is high enough, it could take weeks or even months before you start feeling any effects from taking cbd hemp leaf. If you try a different strain (even if this means consuming two or three different plants), and your body responds well to it during this period then don’t be disheartened!

Keep an open mind about how CBD might be affecting your health.

You might start out thinking it’s not a highly effective treatment option for your condition, and then notice huge improvements later on – money is being spent on research all the time which will only help to improve things for people in future.

Keep your expectations realistic

Although it should be said that even if you’re dealing with an extremely severe condition, with no positive signs of improvement (and a lot of negative health issues in general) the benefits from taking CBD are so powerful that it can certainly make a stark difference to your life even after several months or years!

If you’re ready to give it a go, find a reputable source for high-quality, natural products.

Although there are a lot of different online sources these days, it’s best to check them out yourself to see what’s available and what price you should expect.

CBD and the Body

As well as being used for medicinal purposes for those with serious health issues, CBD can also be used in smaller amounts for various other health benefits. For example, people have found that taking CBD regularly can help with things like anxiety or depression – because of this some people use it in conjunction with meds (e.g., antidepressants) to improve their overall mood.

Treatments like this are of course far from mainstream and they’re often sold as a complementary approach to other treatments, but they can help people with milder mood disorders or conditions that aren’t managed well by meds alone. CBD can also be used for a range of skin concerns related to dryness and skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or rashes.

CBD is also increasingly used in alternative medicine for things like nausea, vomiting, dizziness or the side effects of chemotherapy and other medical treatments. It’s also been found effective when used as a painkiller! If you’re interested in experiences of this kind and how they can be used alongside traditional medications (without the side effects of some prescription meds for example), you might want to contact local organizations or join online groups that are focused on alternative treatments.

CBD Dosage – Which weed leaf extract works best?

cannabidiol (CBD) oil tincture
cannabidiol (CBD) oil tincture

The dosage of CBD that’s recommended depends on a range of factors including the concentration of CBD in the product, your personal tolerance and sensitivity, your age, weight, and other health issues you may be dealing with. Most people start with a small dose after which they experiment with various products to find something that works well for them.

A lot depends on which condition you’re dealing with and how many health problems you have. For example, if you’re dealing with chronic pain then chances are a higher dose will be required to provide relief. The same is true for people who are dealing with more serious health issues, such as cancer for example.

CBD Dosage and Side Effects

The good news about CBD is that there are very few side effects – unlike prescription meds that can produce all kinds of adverse reactions, CBD doesn’t seem to produce any lasting or highly unpleasant symptoms!

You may experience some mild stomach upset in some cases or a dry mouth in others – but these kinds of symptoms are short-lived and easy to manage.

Bongs for beginners

Bongs are a more opulent way to smoke. They may be expensive, but if you’re a fan of cannabis and smokes, or just like the better things in life, this might be the way to go. These water pipes provide smoother hits with less of the dreaded “burn.” But don’t just take our word for it: hear what bong users have to say about them!

This article will discuss how to select the best bong for beginners as well as some basic advice for using a bong.

You don’t want your new bong to be broken on the first day, so here are some precautions you can take.

water bong

1) Use a Bong Salve.

This is a kind of oil that may preserve your bong from harm and also provides a protective coating to your smoking equipment, which is extremely essential since it stops water from splitting and corroding your bong. Such items may be purchased online, but they are not required.

The greatest part about this kind of salve is that it is available in a variety of formulations for several types of pipes. To keep acrylic bongs looking fresh forever, I suggest a solution specially developed for them.

2) Check the weldings.

When purchasing a bong, look for any possible weak weldings first; they’re not difficult to see, typically two tiny cracks where the tube joins the bowl. The simplest solution is to apply additional heat to that area until it melts again, at which point it will be almost difficult to break.

3) Make sure your bong is clean and dry before use.

Water inside a bong may cause harm, so make sure it’s dry before putting any water in it or smoking out of it. If you don’t know how to clean a bong, here’s a simple tutorial on how to do it.

4) Keep your bong clean and dry.

Bongs may get dusty and filthy with time, so be sure to clean them with water and alcohol on a regular basis (also that was the whole point of using it in the first place).

5) Know how to change the water in your bong.

It is critical to understand how to accomplish this in case you need to add fresh water or have some water boil within your bong. In this situation, be careful to drain all old water before adding new water. Also, be cautious not to apply too much pressure while changing the water, since this may shatter your bong glass.

6) Wax your bong.

This takes extraordinarily little time and may help protect your bong from harm. It will also make your bong appear beautiful, particularly if you like the old-school aesthetic.

7) Buy a portable bong.

If you have a busy day ahead of you and need to bring your bong with you, a portable one is ideal for saving room in your luggage or backpack. Furthermore, for those who no longer wish to use alcohol or oil, there is no need for them since it is 100 percent pure shatter resistant glass manufactured of Borosilicate glass (hence the name Banger Glass).

Benefits of a Bong

bong
bong

This essay will go through the advantages of a bong for beginners, which may convince you to go for a bubbler or water pipe.

1) Improved taste.

When you inhale, the smoke has already been through water, typically in a bong. As a result, the flavor is smoother and more delicious. Do you not trust me? Try it out for yourself!

2) More smoke at one time.

It takes a long time to light a bong since you must wait until all the coals are red hot and ready to vape. On the other hand, if you know how to operate a vaporizer properly, it may be done in less than 5 seconds (check this out).

3) More efficient smoking.

Because you can draw a lot of smoke in one hit, it’s time to puff, puff, and pass much quicker!

4) There are so many bongs to choose from.

If you’re crafty, you can build your own bong out of an old glass bottle or jar. If you don’t want to waste your time on DIY projects, you can purchase them at most water pipe shops or online.

5) Hippie style.

Who doesn’t like peace signs and tie-dye? If that’s your style, you may discover something amusing for yourself when searching for a cheap and trendy bong online.

 Bong materials explained

glass bong
glass bong

Just in case you don’t know what a bong is and how it works, here are some materials used to make water pipes.

1) Acrylic

This is the most often used bong material. It’s also the cheapest! Acrylic bongs are light and easy to transport, and they will not shatter from a single fall. Excellent for those who like hiking or traveling!

2) Glass

This one is ideal for people looking for something trendier and more one-of-a-kind. Glass bongs may be whatever color, shape, or texture you desire; if you want something sturdy and long-lasting, go for scientific glass, which is composed of Borosilicate glass (hence known as Banger Glass).

3) Weed

Let’s face it, we all purchase and consume marijuana. It’s both healthy for us and enjoyable. Don’t forget to add a few drops of essential oils (lavender or lemon are excellent) for an even stronger high!

4) Metal

Metal bongs are extremely robust and powerful; they may be a little heavier than other kinds of water pipes, but they are excellent for both people that use them. If you need your bong to travel with you, they are very robust and will not shatter from a single fall.

5) Plastic

The fact that plastic bongs do not rust is intriguing. They are inexpensive and often constructed of polypropylene (the same material used in food packaging), giving them a glass-like appearance and a lightweight body. Plastic bongs have an intriguing history; they were created by individuals who were unaware of the dangers of marijuana smoking. They were originally used as pipes, but as time passed, individuals began to use them to smoke their narcotics out of sight of police or parents.

Wow, that was a helpful review about all your questions, hun? I hope you enjoyed your reading, bong wisely!

Tips for smoking out of a bong

If you’re an avid cigarette smoker, you know the challenge of smoking from a bong can be difficult to master. In this blog, we’ve compiled a list of tips to help you navigate this type of glass inhalation device. If you’re new to smoking out of any kind of pipe or tank, or if smoke always seems to escape your reach no matter how hard you try, read along and learn how to create your own perfect set-up!

Start with a clean bong

bong
bong

This might seem obvious, but you’ll never see your smoke if the first thing you don’t do is take the time to properly prepare. Take your pipe and fill it with water (this will also work to clean any residue that might have previously been in there.) Allow it to soak for 15-20 minutes, then wipe it down with a paper towel until there’s no more residue on the glass. Take the stem out and clean it with water. You should always be able to see a light through the stem on your shiny new piece. Try lighting a candle next to it for comparison of size; you should never see more than one flame in any direction from the bong.

Always keep that wax in reserve

Just because you’ve gotten your bong clean doesn’t mean that you’re finished with it yet. Bring your pipe over to the sink and fill it up with boiling water for some extra steam cleaning. Take the wax out of the bowl and place it somewhere safe so it won’t get burned from the steam. Be sure to use a bottle that you don’t mind getting all sticky with wax. While you’re at it, try lighting up a cigarette while you’re waiting for the water to boil. If you smoke like I do, this may take up to 20 minutes while we wait around for everything to be ready!

Find your natural black magic stick…

The most important thing that will help your smoke get higher is a quality natural bamboo charcoal stick –the canadian online headshop can help you look for one if you haven’t already found one yet. It also has a filter that could help you lock in your smoke, but you should still buy a bong with a stem that can be taken apart and cleaned by you. You can use some of the steam to loosen up that natural bamboo charcoal stick if it is stuck so that you can put the natural fibers directly into the bowl for easier hitting.

Using an extra pipe will give you an advantage

If you want to make your pipe work like a lot more than just an object with a bowl – like a weed whacker, then use an extra pipe from your stash to go along with it. Get together three pipes from your stash for some extra steam cleaning. Keep a bowl that is smaller than the other one to use when you don’t have the whole thing ready to hit with. This is for any situation where you are going to need an extra pipe on hand – this can also be very useful if you want to start smoking out of a bong but aren’t yet familiar with how to do it well.

Use gravity as your friend! This trick will really help you get the most out of your smoke, and it’s something that I’ve seen used in many smoking sessions over the years. When you put the pipe down, keep it from falling over by using the extra gravity of your body weight on it. I see this done most often with a joint. That way, the bowl is kept from falling down and resting on a surface where it can be burned, causing a “dry hit.”

Use one of those little vases that I keep underestimating

Trying to get high in a bong without these things available can take an awful amount of effort if you’re doing it all solo. You can get these at the dollar store, and you should keep an eye out for them when you’re walking down the aisles. You’ll need to put that bowl or natural bamboo charcoal stick somewhere until you’re ready to take another hit. If you’re smoking with someone else, you can share that duty of holding it for them while they focus on their next move.

Use a lighter with a flame on your bong…

water bong
water bong

The most frustrating thing you can do is to try to smoke out of a bong without having a lit lighter around. If you don’t have that luxury, then you’re going to have to wait until the wax and the tobacco are warm enough before you try again. You also don’t want your flame to be too big, or else there will be the risk of making your smoke harsh.

When smoking out of a bong, use something that can hold onto the lighter while you take those big hits! You shouldn’t be holding onto anything for longer than 2 or 3 seconds at a time. Grabbing at whatever you’re trying to light up with, and then dropping it after the hit –yes– is not the best solution.

Make sure that you have something to butt out with – a lighter works great for this! After every hit, retrieve your bowl from where it’s been resting, and go ahead and take another one before putting it back. You can also use a cleaning brush to hold onto that extra pipe if you have one, so that you don’t drop it while taking a big hit. Don’t be afraid to use the lighter all over your hand.

Lastly, use a metal straw to suck into your bong

This tip is especially useful if you have an ice cold drink that you want to sip on, but you can’t because your straw is made of paper. Instead of using one like this, make sure to pick up a metal straw from your local headshop. If the smoker at the headshop doesn’t have a metal straw that will fit, don’t worry – just talk to him and he can help you get exactly what you’re looking for.

I really hope everything works out for everyone who makes it through this winter of smokey frustration with ease.

A guide to use and clean your bong

If you’ve never used a bong before, it can seem like they’re ridiculously complicated. But for regular bongs it’s quite simple: all you need is some water, some weed, and a bowl.

There are different types of bongs: there are traditional bongs, there are vape bongs and there are bongs that can be attached to vaporizers through a conector so you can vape from a bong. Today we are going to talk exclusivelly about traditional bongs.

The water acts as the filter to make your smoke smoother and clearer, while the bowl holds your weed so that you can light it up without burning your fingers. Contrary to popular belief, there’s no need for any elaborate or expensive precursors — just fill up the container with water and use whatever object you have laying around to hold the weed (we often prefer toothpicks). Then, just slide the weed in through the hole before lighting it up.

How To Roll a Joint with Bongs and Water

bong
bong

This is probably one of the more popular ways that people use water pipes. It’s also really cool because you get to see water making smoke! This is an excellent way of getting some quick hits as well.

  1. Take the bowl and cut a square with scissors. You can use any object really: a bike lock, a spoon, etc. Use the scissors to make a hole inside of this square as well as some holes on either side for air flow. Then, if it’s not already attached, add your screen.
  2. Now take the bowl and slide it onto the bong with a little piece of paper tucked inside (like you do with joints). You want this piece of paper to be very small so that it doesn’t come out once you’ve packed up your bowl with weed.
  3. Take your bowl and fill it with water. You can add more if there isn’t enough to fill it up. The most important thing is to make sure that the bowl is completely filled to make the hit perfect. Then, take the piece of paper and fold it over several times.
  4. When you’re ready, hold your bong in one hand and your other hand on top of the bowl. Gently squeeze both hands so that water comes out of both sides at once, creating a foggy column inside of the bowl that looks like smoke (it’s actually clean water).

How To Smoke Out of a Bong

There are several ways to smoke out of a bong, but this is the most simple and straightforward way.

  1. Take your bowl and fill it with weed as you would normally. Then, hold it at a 45-degree angle (with water inside) and bring it down so that the corner of the bowl is under the water line (make sure that you can see the screen).
  2. Then, you can either use scissors or your fingers to poke holes in the side of the bong near the screen to let smoke in — or you can take out some more water until there is only about 0.25 cm of water left over the screen. If you don’t poke any holes, you can just bring down the bowl even further until it’s underneath the water and then smoke it (but that tends to get a bit harsh).
  3. Now that everything is in place, light up your bowl. Remember that if you used scissors to create air holes, cut them toward the front of the bong so they don’t get in your way. Also, try to use long matches for lighting and smoking so that they don’t go out mid-session.

Cleaning Your Bong and Bowl

cleaning your bong
cleaning your bong

First, take a piece of toilet paper and fold it in half — then, stuff it into the bowl. It’s okay if it doesn’t fit because you can stuff more into the bowl as needed. Then, take your scissors and cut off any excess paper. Then, dip your bong into some rubbing alcohol to disinfect it — but only on the outside (the inside of a bong is made of glass). When you’re done, you can use baking soda for a more environmentally sound way to let water out of your bong.

How to Clean Your Bong With Baking Soda

This works best if you have a removable downstem so that you can take it out of the bong after you get everything ready. Make sure that it’s completely clean before you do this by using rubbing alcohol.

  1. Prepare your bong as normal, but make sure that the bowl piece and downstem are detached from the main chamber. Then, get a thin coat of baking soda all over the inside because this will help break down any residues or stains on the glass!
  2. Let everything sit for about five minutes — but don’t put any water inside just yet.
  3. Then, use a pipe cleaner to grab as much of the baking soda that you can — but only on the inside (the outside still doesn’t have any water). This will make sure that all the residue is completely removed.
  4. Finally, take the bowl and bowl piece out of your bong and fill it up with water like normal. You may also want to use some more baking soda on the outside of your bong if you want it to stay clean! Here’s a good article for detailed instructions on how to clean your bong and bowl with baking soda.

How to Clean Your Bong with Rubbing Alcohol

clean your bong
cleaning your bong

This is an effective way of disinfecting your bong because you can use it to flush out any toxins without putting water on the inside of it. But be careful — this stuff can really burn! You’ll have to let it dry before you use it again.

  1. Prepare your bong just like you would if you were going to fill it up with water. Then, take some rubbing alcohol and soak your downstem and the piece that connects your bowl piece and downstem in as well as the bowl piece at the top of the bong so that they’re completely saturated with alcohol.
  2. Let everything dry for about five minutes — and I recommend doing this over a sink so that you can easily grab the pieces that will be submerged in alcohol.
  3. Then, use your pipe cleaner to grab the parts that were saturated with alcohol and pull them out of the bong so they’re completely dry (be careful not to damage your bong). Then, take the piece of glass out of your bowl piece and dump more rubbing alcohol on it to disinfect it like you would if it was made out of plastic — but only on its outer surface (the inside is still completely clean). That will help any bacteria or mold inside from getting anywhere.

Portable Vaporizer

Portable vaporizers have become a ‘go-to’ device for vape users. With vaporization starting with desktop units with hoses or balloons, it was evident that vaping would soon become the norm. However, it was only when the heavy-hitting portable like the Storz & Bickel mighty was launched through no compromise that vaping came to the limelight.

However, as innovation became the order of the day, the devices shrunk, with their design becoming bigger. Vapes like the original Arizer solo, Pax Labs, and firefly were at the forefront of this innovation. Although compromises in the vapor were less than expected, the devices became objects that were no bigger than a cola can, something portable.

What is a portable vaporizer?

Portable vaporizers are small, they are portable devices that allow for the ingestion of dry herb and wax concentrates when on the go. These vape devices are becoming increasingly common as a safe and easy way to vape. However, they are more than just portable. With high-capacity batteries, integrated heating systems, and temperature control capabilities, they leverage great strength within their stealthy-sized frames. These portable units are one of the most common forms of handheld vapes due to their remarkably feature-rich design.

Vaporizers come in many shapes and sizes

Whatever you want to vape, you should make sure you have the correct devices before you begin. Many times, word of mouth is helpful. However, when it comes to vape, you must remember your personal needs, which might vary from those of your mates. Let’s look at the various kinds of vaporizers for rookies.

The main types of vaporizers

Dry herb vaporizer types

Most professional vapers choose one of these four primary types of vaporizers; they are:

Based on what you are looking for, they each have different benefits. What you expect to get out of your vaporizer would, of course, be decided by what you are shopping for. For instance, Canadian Vaporizers – Dry Herb Vaporizer Canada serves an entirely different purpose than a conventional pocket vapes. One is meant for dry herbs, and the other is for liquid herbs.

Box Mods

These are more sophisticated than the other three, and as a result, they may not be appropriate for beginners. Nonetheless, they are not notably harder to understand and can have certain advantages that others cannot. You can personalize them, ensuring you can maximize the volume of vapour you inhale with each inhale.

They have customizable settings as well as a bigger battery. As a result, they will typically go for longer periods between charges, making them an enticing choice. The temperature and power of these vaporizers differ depending on the device, but some allow you to regulate the temperature and intensity.

Pocket Vapes

Pocket vapes are by far the most compact and user-friendly vaporizers. They may be as small as you want, but the bigger pens are roughly the size of a cigar. The battery would be less potent than other options, but it will be economical to get started with vaping. All of them would remain rechargeable and flexible. This means you’ll be able to vape dried herbs, waxes, and oils.

Pen Vaporizers

As the name suggests, Pen vapes resemble pens but may come in various shapes and sizes. They are made up of two parts: the battery and the atomizer. Vape pens with variable voltage and temperature control are available. It is thought to be the best form of vaporizer for beginners because it is quick to use while still efficient. They are a common choice with a better flavour than e-cigarettes and seem to be a little sturdier.

E-Cigarettes

An e-cigarette is a plain vaporizer; however, it has come a long way from its inception. They are much smaller, need more regular refilling, do not emit as much vapor, and the battery does not last as long as a fully charged vape case.

Desktop Vaporizer

These are also known as the tabletop vaporizer; these devices are supposed to be stationary. Desktop vaporizers are typically larger and would have to be plugged into a power source.

There are two primary types of desktop vaporizers, they are;

  • Forced air vapes: These are also known as ‘balloon vape’; this device pushes hot air throughout the chamber and collects vapor in the balloon bag, where the vapor can be routed to the connected whips and mouthpieces.
  • Whip Style Vapes: This type looks like a traditional hookah and also has a simple design. They have a chamber, heating element, want, whip and mouthpiece.

Several cannabis users have begun to use vaporizers, and the industry is now filled with them. If you try to find one online, you’ll be bombarded with hundreds of results. And if you’re in the real world, daily cigarette shops have hundreds of different types at various price points.

With so many choices in front of you, it can seem not easy to select only one. Fortunately, you can take a few approaches to narrow down your options and find your ideal match. Here are a few pointers that would help you make an informed decision:

The vaporizer types

Many people are only aware of the kinds of vapes that can be kept in your pocket. However, much like computers, there are portable and desktop alternatives.

  • Desktop vaporizers: Desktop vapes may not be seen as often as portable models, but they are more likely to be recognized. First and foremost, they stand out for their styles, which often resemble miniature high-tech towers. Desktop vapes are also great for group settings because they mean that everyone gets toasted without having to wait too long. As we’ll see later, these can be very expensive, but choosing the right one is still worthwhile.
  • Vape Pen: There’s something to be said about portability, no matter how excellent a desktop vape is. Sure, pipes and bubblers are “portable,” however glass will crack in transit, and smoking a pipe or bubbler outdoors can get you strange looks. On the other hand, vape pens work in your pocket and are more durable than joints or glass. You’ll even blend in a while vaping outdoors because they look just like e-cigarettes.
  • Portable Vape: Finally, there is the possibility of a portable vape, which sits between those two realms. Technically, vape pens are portable, but we’re talking about more rugged ones built to achieve improved performance. Instead of being built like pens, they take on heavier, boxier shapes. Those shapes aren’t selected at random since bulkier vapes are often much more efficient than their pen equivalents.

What are you vaping?

If you’ve decided on the kind of vaporizer you want—i.e., where you’ll be vaping—it’s now time to think about what you’ll be vaping. Are you more of a flower person, or do you like concentrates? Perhaps you’d like to have both choices available? With today’s vaping technology, it is possible.

  • Flower: Vaping cannabis flower brings a new spin to traditional practice.
  • Concentrates: As good as the flower is, nothing beats a hit of a potent concentrate. You’ll be stored in a matter of seconds, and the absence of plant matter makes things easier on the lungs.
  • Hybrids: Some days will call for bud, and others will call for concentrates. In that case, we recommend one of the many excellent hybrid vaporizers available. As you would expect, hybrid vapes have extraordinary chambers filled with either flower or concentrate.

Heating Method

When it comes to vape, most people are ignorant of the value of the heating process. And if both of the above strategies are called vaping, there are significant variations between them.

  • Conduction: Conduction would be more natural to those transitioning from smoking to vaping. This is when a heating apparatus is in contact with the herb or concentrate.
  • Convection: Convection, on the other hand, does not require much contact with the heating equipment and the herb or concentrate. Instead, the vapor is formed by hot air circulating through and around the substance you’re smoking.
  • Hybrid: You don’t have to choose between the two heating systems if you believe they all have advantages. Some vapes, for example, use both convection and conduction mechanisms to provide you with a smooth but efficient vaping experience.

In Conclusion, if you want to use a portable vaporizer, go with an herbal vaporizer if you’re looking for an alternative way to get medicated without having to smoke.

Can you smoke weed while on birth control?

You enjoy having your hit occasionally and just relaxing and letting all your stress melt away. But you are also on birth control for whatever reason it might be, if it is medical related or you just do not want little feet running around in the next 9 months.

If you are reading this article you are probably using one of the two or maybe both and want to know if weed is going to influence the effectiveness of your birth control.

Well, to be honest, there is not enough research or studies done on this subject to show what might happen if you use both at the same time. But let us get to what we do know.

When it comes to birth control there are so many options to choose from including:

Pills, patches, shots, implants, and IUD’S. Each of these birth controls differ from another some have estrogen and progesterone while others are progesterone only. They also have different hormone ratios. These birth controls also affect everyone in a different way some stop getting aunty flow others feel fatigued and depressed and then some are loving their lives again.

As you may know, there are different species of cannabis. Indica which has more of a calming high effect and Sativa, which is more of an energizing high.

It has been shown that cannabis helps with cramps, general pain, nausea, anxiety, eating disorders, lack of sleep, and even endometriosis. Just like birth control has different ratios, there are also different species of cannabis that have different ratios of CBD and THC.

Okay by now you might understand why it is hard to determine if weed influences your birth control. Here is some interesting information:

“A couple of studies done by the Department of Hygienic Chemistry in Japan and the Department of Pharmacology in the Czech Republic suggests that the CBD compound found in marijuana can potentially act as an “enzyme inhibitor”.

There are enzymes in our body, such as cytochrome P450 (CP450), that are responsible for metabolizing medication. If CBD manages to hinder this process, then the effectiveness of estrogen-based contraception may be at risk. “The methods include:

  • Combination birth control pills
  • NuvaRing
  • Birth control patch

This is something all of us women experience once a month and with it comes the moodiness, the craving for chocolate 24/7, and yes, those horrible cramps. CBD and other cannabinoids can treat your menstrual cramps in the following ways:

cannabidiol or CBD oil
cannabidiol or CBD oil

1.       Anti-inflammatory

Cannabinoids have many anti-inflammatory activities, and this will definitely help when Aunt flow is visiting because it will help prevent macrophages from releasing the inflammatory proteins.

2.       Relieves Pain

Yes, we all hate those cramps that you feel you just want to curl up in a ball and cry the whole day. By taking CBD it will target the nerve receptors and this will decrease the sensation of pain.

3.       It will relax your muscles

“Menstrual cramps are exacerbated by contractions of smooth muscle lining the uterus”. The cannabinoids will relax these smooth muscles.

4.       It can also help with vascular relaxing

Your blood vessels are also lined with smooth muscle and the cannabinoids will help the smooth muscle to relax and by doing this the blood flow increases. The oxygen-starved tissue is then helped by the increased blood flow and also decreases your horrible painful cramps.

Other natural remedies you can use to help for cramps:

·         You can apply heat

Heat increases the blood flow in the area and as mentioned above the oxygen-starved tissue is then helped by the increased blood flow and then helps your cramps.

When Aunt flow is visiting, do you want to eat chocolate like it is going out of style? Well, women who take magnesium supplements during the month have less pain and inflammatory prostaglandin levels. And yes, you guessed it chocolate contains high levels of magnesium. Keep calm and eat your chocolate!

Cannabis tampons
Cannabis tampons

Yes, I know this might sound strange but sit back and read on. Cannabis tampons are tampons that are infused with marijuana. It then works to remove the pain that you will feel during that time of your month.

The marijuana tampons include cocoa butter, hemp oil, and coconut oil. This helps and allows the suppository to soften and then melt in your body. What happens next? The cannabinoids like THC and CBD then enter your bloodstream through your lady flower’s mucosa.

How quickly will this work?

Okay, first of all, how everyone responds to cannabinoids is different. This means how quickly you experience it might not be so quickly for your friend. A study was performed on women to use these tampons during the menstrual cycle and then track their symptoms to determine if it actually works. But there is still no outcome that has been found. But the customer reviews are very positive.

And don’t worry these tampons won’t get you high!  “Foria Relief’s ingredients include a CBD isolate that uses CO2-extracted cannabis oil and organic cocoa butter. Each tampon contains 60 mg of THC, which is a significant amount. However, the 10mg of CBD helps reduce any potential intoxicating effects of the THC. According to Foria, the ‘majority’ of users do NOT experience a psychoactive high.”

There you have it guys, no more dealing with those horrible cramps every month. Now Aunty flow’s visits will be a pleasant one, but don’t worry you can still eat your chocolate!

Is CBD oil good for the prostate?

CBD prostate
CBD prostate
As records have shown CBD has many benefits some of them including reducing stress and anxiety, and relieving pain and inflammation, but can it cure prostate cancer?

For now, we don’t know if cannabis can help to cure prostate cancer. But studies have been done and it looks promising. The studies have looked at the effect of chemicals in cannabis that are called cannabinoids on prostate cancer cells.

There are two main cannabinoids that have been investigated – THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). The studies found that the cannabinoids may stop the prostate cancer cells from growing and then dividing, causing the prostate cells to die and stop the cells from invading other tissue and spreading.

But these studies have only looked at prostate cancer cells that were grown in laboratories or in mice, so there is still a long way to go to see what effect it may have on patients. Therefore, clinical trials on humans will have to be done to see if the cannabinoids can be used to treat prostate cancer.

Can CBD oil help with an enlarged prostate?

Yes, among other benefits, “As with enlarged prostate, cannabidiol may be able to relieve some of the pain, discomfort, and inflammation associated with this condition. What’s more intriguing, cannabidiol may have antibacterial properties that can address the problem at its source.”, says https://greenhealthdocs.com.

Will a healthy diet and exercise help with prostate cancer?

CBD prostate
CBD prostate

So this is a topic that is asked a lot about. Eating healthy, exercising, and maintain a healthy weight is very important not only for your general health but also for men who have prostate cancer.

Why?

Because there is evidence that shows that being overweight can increase the risk of aggressive or advanced prostate cancer. Staying a healthy weight means that your prostate cancer is less likely to spread after you had surgery or radiotherapy.

Are there any foods I can eat that will help fight advanced prostate cancer?

There are certain foods that people have heard of that might slow down the growth of prostate cancer. These foods include:

  • Soya beans
  • Green tea
  • Tomatoes and lycopene
  • Pomegranate
  • Broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage

But they cannot say for sure if these foods can help men who have prostate cancer.

What treatments are available for men with advanced prostate cancer?

CBD prostate
CBD prostate

If you have advanced prostate cancer this means that the cancer has spread to other parts of your body, treatment will not cure the cancer. But what it can do is keep it under control. There are the following treatments if you have advanced prostate cancer.

  • Chemotherapy with hormone therapy
  • Hormone therapy alone
  • Clinical trials
  • Radiotherapy in some cases

Although it is too early to say if cannabis can help with prostate cancer, we do know that it can help relieve pain and inflammation. More studies will have to be done to see what the effects are, but we are hopeful that somewhere in the new future, cannabis will be able to cure prostate cancer or at least be another treatment that can be used to keep the cancer under control.
